Juhannus on ollut rentoa aikaa, pennut ovat ulkoilleet paljon lämpimässä ulkoilmassa leikkien ja ympäristöä tutkien.

We have been spending Finnish Midsummer this weekend. Puppies have been lots outside at warm weather. They've been playing and exploring environment.

3 viikkoa alkaa olla täynnä

Pennuilla alkaa olla 3 viikkoa ikää ja meno alkaa pikkuhiljaa yltymään.
Kaikki ovat kovin reippaita ja tänään maisteltiin ensimmäiset annokset jauhelihaa. Kaikki (myös Megy) olivat haltioissaan tarjoilusta! :) Huomenna tarjoillaan ensimmäisen annos matolääkettä, se ei liene niin hitti kuin tämänpäiväinen uusi maku.

Puppies are tomorrow 3 weeks old and they are started to play together.
All of them are very brave and today they were eating minced meat first time. Everybody (also Megy) was fascinated about the meal! :)

Pentulaatikon sisällölle...

...kuuluu oikein hyvää. Kaikki pennut ovat elinvoimaisia ja kasvavat. Megyllä riittää maitoa hyvin ja ruoka maistuu.


Syntyessään yhdellä uroksella, Mertsillä, oli pahannäköinen häntämutka, ikäänkuin silmukka hieman hännän puolenvälin alapuolella. Torstai-iltana Mertsi oli satuttanut häntänsä ja tiivis silmukka oli revennyt auki, iho tietysti oli sen seurauksella rikki ja vuoti verta. Sain vuodon lopulta kuitenkin tyrehtymään ja pentunen pärjäsi hyvin seuraavaan aamuun. Eläinlääkärin kanssa päädyimme häntäamputaatioon, koska Mertsi oli muuten kovin virkeä, söi hyvin ja oli muutenkin normaalin pennun oloinen, sillä hetkellä vain hieman kipeä hännästään. Kuten kuvasta näkyy, pojalla on nyt puolet hännästä kuitenkin jäljellä ja sama reipas meno jatkuu.
Mertsille etsinkin kotikoirakotia, jos se kasvaessaan vaikuttaa edelleen muutoin terveeltä.





In puppy-box, everything is fine. All the puppies seems to be very healthy and they are growing up. Megy has lots of milk and she also eats well.


When the puppies were born, there was one male, Mertsi, who had quite big and bad looking tail kink. At thursday evening his tail was injured some how and started bleeding. He managed well to next day and friday morning I took him to my workplace. We decided with the vet, that it would be best to amputate the kink part away. Now he have about half of his tail left and seems to be very happy and healthy all other ways.
I'm looking for a pet home for Mertsi, if he is as healthy as now, when he grows up.

Pentuja! - We have puppies!

Megy aloitti eilen illalla hieman yllättäen synnytyksen ja selviytyikin siitä erittäin mallikkaasti! Laatikossa tuhisee nyt 10 unkarilaisvauvaa, joiden synnyttämiseen ei mennyt kuin n. 4 tuntia, ensimmäinen tyttö syntyi 21.5. klo 22.23 ja viimeinen tyttö seuraavan päivän puolella klo 2.30. Sekä emä että pennut voivat hyvin! <3


Väriskaalaakin tuli mukavasti,

Megy started to give birth late last night. I did expect puppies later this week, but everything went very well. So now we have 10 little magyar agar - puppies! Megy used only 4 hours to get them all out, first girl borned 21.5. 22.23pm and last girl 22.5. 2.30am.
Megy and puppies are doing very well! <3

7 viikkoa...

ja masu senkun kasvaa. Pennut ovat myllänneet jo pari päivää niin ahkerasti, että olen itsekin ne käteen tuntenut. Megy-mamman vointi on erinomainen ja tissit alkavat myös täyttyä maidolla (viimeinen pari jo kohta pienen nyrkin kokoiset). :)


7 weeks behind... and Megys belly is growing and growing. Puppies have been moving couple of days now, that I have been able to feel them. Megy-mum is still doing very well and her mammarys are filling with milk (last pair of them are almost size of little fist). :)
